Abstract: |
This corresponds to the supplementary tables of the article "Acute Cross-education Effect on Force Production and Central/Peripheral Responses to Unilateral Eccentric and Concentric Resistance Exercise in Elbow Flexors" Published in the Journal of Neurophysiology. Table 2 presents the supplementary data from Appendix 1 on the fatigability of the testing protocol. Table 3 presents the supplementary data from Appendix 2 on the TMS recruitment curve. The table files will be downloaded in Word format (Microsoft Office 365, 2025) |

Table 2: Results of the fatigability of the neuromuscular protocol. Pre- and Post- (mean ± SD) values of the elbow flexors maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) torque at the beginning (MVIC-1) and at the end (MVIC-2) of the neuromuscular protocol for CTRLCONC, CONC, CTRLECC and ECC conditions. No significant differences (P> 0.05) were found for the PRE values between CTRLCONC, CTRLECC, CONC and ECC conditions. |

Table 3: Pre- and Post- (mean ± SD) measurements, normalized changes (% of PRE) (mean ± SD), and analyses of variance (ANOVA) results of the recruitment curve with the BB motor evoked potentials (MEP) normalized to MMAX (MEP/MMAX) amplitude responses from 35% to 90% of stimulator output for the concentric control (CTRLCONC), concentric (CONC), eccentric control (CTRLECC) and eccentric (ECC) conditions. No significant differences (P> 0.05) were found for the PRE values between CTRLCONC, CTRLECC, CONC and ECC conditions. |
